Someone Else Is Holding My Loop Open

I recently put in an order, renting gear for an upcoming gig. It had been some time since I had rented gear from this service. Everything was a little different. After putting my new payment info and hitting submit the order ended with a pending status. Figured they were processing payment, then change the status. But for the past few days the order status has been left in my tabs. Stuck on pending. It's a loop that some else is holding open. Now I don't have any reassurance that my order is even going to be ready. Should I contact customer service to check? Are they going to think I am crazy for overthinking this? Do I just resubmit my order? There are so many other loops that are of my own making. I don't need someone else adding to my open loops.
